Have you heard of a "call to action". This is something you put in your email to get people to do something. You need to be creative, and do something outside of the box. You are basically telling people that if they click on the link, they will be taken to a webpage with something that will be beneficial for them. Then there are other benefits you can mention such as the action will save them time and money. You want them to click the link - that is what the action is, and that you are motivating them to do in a creative way. What you are doing is taking the benefits of the product, for instance, and dangling that in front of them in the call to action.
